The average admission cost for this client is $11,750 (as per their current offerings).
We started working with them at the beginning of 2019. When we started, they had a cost of $4,458/deal (or admit). They were barely surviving as the monthly overhead costs were over $50,000. Their cost per lead was above $400.
👉 The first thing we did was to cut down any lead acquisition channel that was underperforming and to double down on what we knew worked and could increase this client's bottom line immediately.
👉 We increased their lead numbers by 164% by reducing their cost per lead to $151.51/lead. Because the lead quality stayed the same, their conversion rate remained constant. Which meant they finally had some room to breathe and could gradually increase their monthly advertising budget.
👉 Because of the Pandemic, everyone suffered, including them. Despite seeing a decrease in lead numbers during the early months of the Pandemic (everyone was scared), by August we managed to turn everything around and fully book them for the months to come.
👉 Some of the strategies we used were to rely heavily on email marketing (following-up with past clients and asking for referrals), to better qualify the cold leads, and to explore new ways of engaging with their Social Media followers in a way that created trust.
👉 Despite all the struggles that 2020 came with, we managed to get the cost per COLD lead down to $110 (this is NOT counting referrals coming in from past clients).
👉 At this point, they had a cost per admit/deal of $1,600 (almost 3X less than when we started working together!)
👉 Or goal for this year was to get the cost per admit to average $1,000.
👉 To achieve that, we have started focusing again on the lead acquisition channels we previously shut down (in 2019). We split their budget across them and tested new strategies on the existing ones.
👉 May 2021 was the first month we've hit (and exceeded) our target: an average of $961/admit.
👉 We finished the year by hitting (and exceeding) our goal: a cost per admit lower than $1,000 (average).
2022 and beyond
👉 We're working with them to add more acquisition channels
👉 They are going to open a couple of new locations and we're going to help them allocate a separate budget for those and start marketing locally (first).
👉 Our goal for their existing location is to get the cost per admit below $900.
